New Members

New members must register with HTCIA International via the registration page

The HTCIA Ottawa Chapter has a meet and greet meeting each year where members of the public may participate. Please contact a member of the Ottawa chapter for details, but be sure to read the qualifying requirements from the International Registration page.

If you would like to join the HTCIA Ottawa Chapter; or would like to attend a meeting but are not a member; or are interested in the qualifications needed to become a member; or are interested in learning more what the society does, feel free to communicate with any of the [executive]. We would be glad to help in any way that we can.

Membership Renewal

Online Membership renewal at HTCIA International via the members area, then choose the renewal item. Renewals are initiated in late January and a notice should be issued by HTCIA international to each member.

Late renewals and membership reinstatement can be done via communications with HTCIA International

Membership Benefit

As a benefit of membership in the HTCIA you can gain access to the Cybercop portal. Although CyberCop is not run by the HTCIA, it is a resource which many HTCIA members find useful.

Many professional security certification programs, including the CISSP from ISC2 and the CISM from ISACA, recognized attendance at HTCIA chapter meetings as approved professional training activity required to maintain these certifications. Check with your certification body to determine if HTCIA meetings are recognized.
