HTCIA Objectives

The objective of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association is to encourage, aid and affect the voluntary interchange of data, information and experience among its members.

Our purpose is to foster the growth in knowledge of investigative methods, processes and techniques amongst our Chapter's membership in the National Capital Region and abroad.

Many professional security certification programs, including the CISSP from ISC2 and the CISM from ISACA, recognize attendance at HTCIA chapter meetings as approved professional training activity required to maintain these certifications.
